Daily Routine
April 30, 2009
I realized I’m getting tired of my daily routine.
I’m getting tired of waking up at the sound of my alarm at 6am. Hit the snooze button then go back to sleep. At 7am, I’d get up, stretch, drink coffee and eat breakfast for an hour. (30 minutes kaen, 30 minutes tunganga). I would take a bath by 8:15, for 15-20 minutes I would scrub my skin vigorously, shampoo and condition my hair and sing in the shower whenever I was in a good mood.
I’d get dressed, dry my hair, spray on perfume and be out of the house by 9am. I’d get to UP by 9:15 (still early for my first class) then surf the net for 30 minutes.
I would sit in the class for an hour and a half until our usual 10-minute break. Then another hour of torture.
After class, I would eat lunch alone, and go to the 4th floor afterwards to surf the net. I’d stay there for another 2 hours (or until my laptop’s battery’s empty). Soundtrip, muni-muni, do homework or sleep lang until 3pm.
I’d start walking to my bio class, (at madadaanan ang tambayang ng isang frat sa campus na nakakatakot silang lahat tumitig kapag dumaan ka dun), stop by CASAA to buy chips and then wait for another 15 minutes for my prof.
I’d sit inside the classroom for another 2 hours, trying my best not to fall asleep (kasi bawal), steal a glance at 46xyx, and then go back to jotting down notes. My professor would tell jokes (minsan funny, minsan plain sarcasm lang mga sinasabi niya), lecture again and then suddenly say, “oh yung mga nagtetext jan. Lumabas na lang kayo. Kilala ko kayo. Huwag niyong antayin na tawagin ko mga pangalan niyo”. Siyempre, lahat patay-malisya lang.
After 2 hours of information overload, we would be dismissed tas derecho uwi na ako. No stop-overs. Derecho boarding house na. I’d sleep for an hour, skip dinner, surf the net, try to study (sinabi kong TRY lang), read a novel, watch TV, take a bath again then go to sleep.
After 5 – 6 hours of dreaming, my daily routine would start again.
